Supporting the Kawagawa Sohonbun Festival 2025
The National High School Arts Festival is Japan’s largest festival of arts and cultural activities by high school students from all over the country, held by each prefecture on a rotating basis since 1977.
The festival will be held in Kagawa Prefecture for the second time in 34 years, since the 15th festival in 1991.
In addition to the general opening ceremony and parade, presentations and other activities will be held in the 19 designated divisions and 4 sponsored divisions.
Approximately 3,000 participating schools and 20,000 high school students representing each prefecture will gather from all over Japan, and approximately 100,000 spectators, including prefectural residents, are expected to attend this major event.
